BPM, mixed-use building in Paris, wins MIPIM Award for “Best Conversion”

Cannes, March 13, 2026 – Redevco, a European player and specialist in urban regeneration, has been awarded the prize for “Best Conversion” for its mixed-use building, BPM (Beats Per Minute), at MIPIM 2026, which took place from March 9 to 12 in Cannes.

“The Redevco teams and I are very proud to see BPM at the top of the podium! I would like to thank all the teams at Redevco, Franklin Azzi Architecture, Bauhcide as project management advisor and Edifira as execution project manager, as well as all partners who are producing exceptional work in the conversion and repositioning of this address, which our owners have held since 1965. Today, the heart of Paris is beating faster thanks to this project, and this international recognition encourages us to continue our commitment to meaningful urban transformation that creates social value and is exemplary on an environmental level,” says Cécile Pouzadoux, Head of Asset Management at Redevco France.

Designed by Franklin Azzi Architecture, BPM combines architectural innovation, sustainability (BREEAM RFO certification, targeting In-Use Excellent), mixed uses and social integration in a demanding heritage context, located at 126 Rivoli (Paris 1) on one of the most vibrant streets of the capital.

BPM will eventually offer 13,000m² spread over 10 levels, becoming a lively and connected experiential  space. A new destination for central Paris, where shops (3,500m²), offices (4,500m²), urban logistics, as well as a 4-star lifestyle hotel by Radisson Collection (57 rooms) and a gourmet restaurant will coexist. In addition, a green rooftop, open to the public, will offer an exceptional 360° view of Paris. A listed medieval crypt from the thirteenth century will be part of the hotel’s offering; highlighting the site’s rich heritage.

Among the future retail tenants, two new flagships will be installed: the largest MUJI branch in Europe with a new concept store, as well as that of an international fashion brand. BPM has been designed to function as a living ecosystem, with a unique operating model, through which the different tenants and uses are intended to complement each other, interact with each other and enhance each other’s value.

Judged by an international jury of experts in the real estate industry, the MIPIM Awards annually recognise the world’s most outstanding achievements in innovation, sustainability, and urban impact.
